I saw Pixar’s Up last night at the Clapham Picture House, if you’ve never been to this cinema I would suggest a visit. It has a nice little bar and the popcorn is always warm and fresh.
As for the feature, if you want to be taken through a roller-coaster ride of emotions, book your ticket for Up now.

Actually, roller-coaster doesn’t even give it justice…try a turbulent, trans-Atlantic flight, in a propeller plane during a hurricane with only one of those propellers working and a tiny bit of gasoline left. Yes, that is more like the emotional minefield you will endure.
From the get go, and with out giving anything away, I was crying. I cried in the beginning, I cried in the middle and yes I cried in the end. In fact, I haven’t cried this much since my 8 year old birthday present parrot (aptly named Happy-Birthday) was eaten by my 7 year old birthday present cat.
Don’t get me wrong though, there are a lot of funny bits too, just be warned and bring a tissue.
All in all, a very good film, won’t be surprised if it’s an Oscar winner, go and see it.
