Regarding res. no. 6... Unless you have a nicely developed OCD in terms of tasting notes, you shall fail. I know. I tried, and failed... But I1ve seen people who are most organised if it comes to tasting notes. That was scary actually. Very very scary, eventhough I really envy them...

Regarding resolution no. 2. - of course, sure...

There I was wondering how the vineyard got its name...Coryelle is that French?
Well I only got a sentence or two describing your place, but must say it sounded remote and maybe a bit sauvage , the high elevation now only adds to what sounds like a very nice plot.

For some reason, especially with vineyards, I seem to be attracted to the most remote and difficult to get to, not sure if that is a good or bad thing.
Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Glad you enjoyed the wine. I think Mike makes an excellent Syrah from the grapes in my vineyard. He's been making it since 2000 and each year just gets better. He's right about the vineyard - it's 12 miles from the small town of Cazadero, about 1200 feet in elevation in the coastal hills above Fort Ross. Really lovely country.

It depends on the situation. In most cases it is generally undesirable, except in very small quantities, but some wines benefit from a bit of it. None benefits from a lot of it. (but it is also a question of the whole profile of the wine)
